[Dailydrool] A week later

It's been a week since Isabella went to her forever home and Holly is adjusting to being an only Houndie.  The first couple of days she didn't do much except sleep.  I spent a lot of time on the floor trying to get her to play, but she lost interest quickly.

The other day we went out in the car for about 3 hours.  I had some errands to run and took her with me.  She enjoys riding in the car and enjoys barooing at people on the street :)   She had so much to say at the drive thru at the bank that almost all the employees came to the window to see her, they even sent her a biscuit.  

Yesterday I decided to rearrange a couple of closets, the ones where I keep gifts for my friends and their Hounds.  It's also where I have been keeping a lot of the gifts that were sent to Holly.  She had a great time picking out some new stuffies to play with.  She could have had anything as long as she started running and playing again.

Then I found something that she just LOVED.  It's called the everlasting treat ball.  It was part of a lot of dog toys that I won on Ebay a few months ago.  She worked on that thing for 4 hours last night.  I had to put it away so she would eat dinner, and it's the first thing she looked for this morning.  She's been at it for 2 hours again and she still hasn't managed to eat the entire thing yet.

I know she still misses Bella, so do I, but she is starting to act like herself again.  I just love watching her run around with her stuffies, tossing them and catching them.
