[Dailydrool] Excitement

We had ourselves a little bit of excitement here in Southern Illinois yesterday. There was a lovely thunderstorm and tornado that went through here in the late afternoon. We were very lucky in that all we lost were some tree limbs. The girls were not happy. Ninja stayed glued to my side the whole time. Shelby didn't care. Maggie and Marley were very agitated. We stayed in the family room until the sirens went off. When the rain started falling sideways we contemplated moving to the bathroom. The boyslaves wanted to go outside. Momslave was not amused. We slept a lot afterwards. All that worrying wore the girls out.

Ninja is my velcro dog. Today I had to go out for a bit and she sat at the front door and waited for me to come home. In all the years of living with bassets, I have never been loved like this. I am her buddy. Whereever I go, she keeps her eyes on me. I have no idea why she is so attached, but I like it. She is my little four-legged attachment.

We are sending drool and snooters to all in need. We are hoping for and sending wishes for a peaceful evening.

Julie with Ninja, Marley, Maggie, and Shelby
