[Dailydrool] Seniors on Sale

I work with Golden Gate Basset Rescue.  We have a policy that the older the dog is, the less one pays for the adoption fee.  Those wanting puppies (1 year or less) get charged the most money.  We also have a couple of special needs hounds that we have agreed to pay the medical for them for the rest of their lives.  Anything to get them into a loving, stable home environment!!  Of course, anyone that adopts from us has to fill out an application and have a home inspection and they must sign an agreement that if they can't keep the hound, that they return it to us!!  We think using incentives to get a senior or special needs hound into a forever home is worth it!!
