I was reading an article just today about poop bags (what must
"normal" people think of
someone who reads articles about
poop bags???) and it said the most ecofriendly way to dispose of poo is to
flush it down the toilet.  Biodegradable bags are fine, but if your
landfill is anaerobic, they don't break down any more that regualr plastic
bags do.  They also suggested composting (not for use on food
plants), and in-ground septic systems (presumably the Doggy Dooley,
although I do know one person who put in a complete septic system for ehr
dogs.), but you must be sure it is not where it will leach into
groundwater.

On another and more pleasant topic, Purple
surprised us by presenting us with a fat and sassy
tri-color little
girl today.  She had a witnessed "oops" with Johnny back at
the beginning of Janurary (thanks to the spouse who forgot Purple was in
that run when he put Johhny away after breakfast) and we figured she was
due on or after Wednesday which was day 61.  I guess she couldnt'
wait.  Don't know if she's done yet, and she's not telling.
