[Dailydrool] I May Have Lost It

Karen,

It's never too early to rescue a hound! I can't think of anything that can
heal a heart faster, or take your mind of things more than the antics of a
buppy! When we lost our Aeryn I thought there was no way we could possibly
get over it enough to get another hound any time soon. Less than 4 weeks
later my daughter was spamming my inbox with pictures of bassets available
at our local rescue. Six weeks from when we let our darling Aeryn journey
on, we went to the rescue to pick out ONE basset and ended up adopting not
one but two new hounds. (I specifically told my daughter no buppies and no
Sr's, we just didn't have the time or vet money for those, so of course we
came home with a 12 month old and a 10 year old.)

Personally, I can't think of anything that would make any of our hounds at
the bridge happier than looking down and seeing us giving a loving place to
another hound in need.

Brenda- momslave to Copper (the Sr. we weren't going to get), Elphaba (the
buppie we weren't going to get), and Morgan (the teenager who has momslave
wrapped around her little finger.)
