[Dailydrool] rug cleaning

Prayers and healing drool to all in need.
I remember once reading that someone used vinegar in their home rug cleaning machine. I am about to launch a rug cleaning adventure, and there have been some "mistakes" that have compounded.  I usually use Bissell pet formula, or lavender formula or the allergy formula, but I am thinking maybe to try vinegar.  Does anyone have any advice about this?
