For the basset who doesn't want to eat his veggies, you can use airpopped
popcorn (no butter or salt).  Just substitute the popcorn for a third
or so of the normal ration of kibble.  Works great, but does tend to
create a lot of poop.  Of course, that's the whole point - add fiber
and bulk, not fat or calories.
