[Dailydrool] Harley of Hawaii has a new girlfriend (platonic)

Harley and Bo of Hawaii have a new girlfriend. Shortly after moving into our new neighborhood, Harley has met the girl of his dreams--a chihuahua-terrier mix named Ruby. Ruby runs loose in the neighborhood--several of my neighbors have said that when her owners leave for work at 7:30 AM, they toss her outside (no fenced yard or enclosure), and when they return after 6:00 PM, they open their doors to her again. In the meantime she is on the streets. That is, until she met Bo and Harley. Harley and she fell in love at first sight. Ruby is small enough that she can slip under my fence (like a mouse under door-cracks), so now at 7:35 AM, Ruby arrives in my livingroom through the dog door. She and Harley play in my fenced yard, nap on my sofa, and practice the basset 500 everywhere all day now, with Bo occasionally joining in. After it is dark, Ruby slips under the fence again and returns home, resting to return the next morning to join our basset pack again.
 The boys adore her, she them, and I feel better knowing she is not in the street baiting cars all day. My husband has begun wondering how long it will be until Ruby starts sleeping here as well.
