That's my snausage lovin' 16 paws looking at you from
today's calendar page.  It's Bosley's 6th birfday today!
He's been with us for 15 months now and is such a
big lap baby. Bos gets along with everyone and is
our resident squirrel chaser and watch dog - he notices
EVERY strange car or truck on the street. And he has
the loveliest BAH-Roooooo!

Pw Miss Pauline and Elmo will both be 12 this summer -
so hard to believe.  Pauline has a grade 4 heart murmur
and pulmonary edema but is doing well on medication.
Her last eye vet visit went well and we are managing
to keep her glaucoma at bay with her remaining eye -
it's been 6 years since she was diagnosed.  This
bossy pwincess is such a trooper and still rules like
Queen Pauline!

Elmo has bad arthritis in his hind legs and we have
to work at keeping this boy moving. Swimming is a
big help although our "speed bump" prefers floating
in a warm pool while the therapist gives him a good
massage! Taking Gracie to swim therapy does get
his goat, though, so she accompanies us to the pool
sometimes to put a little energy into him and get him
to do some good swimming.

Gracie is still crazy at 7 years old.  She's slowed
down some but still flies through the doggie door
at what appears to be warp speed - enthusiasm
is her forte! Her seizures seem to be under control
for several months now - we are so grateful for that.
She likes to go to swim therapy, too, but her motivation
is clearly the chicken jerky treat that comes at the end
of the session!

So that's the update on the pawsies. Now if you stop
by their lemonade stand, be sure you have plenty
of snausages with you . . .
