[Dailydrool] mixed breeds/fancy names

There is nothing wrong with telling people you have a Bassalier. The problem
comes when people deliberately do this mix and then sell it as a "rare
breed" for $1200. Plus, people who deliberately combine breeds often do so
without thinking about what traits they may be passing along. Recently we
had a dog in that was part Shar-Pei and part Pit. It had all the skin
problems of a Shar-Pei and a double whammy of terrible temperament. It was a
NIGHTMARE. Labradoodles can be lovely dogs or they can be absolutely
terrible, big, active, crazy and with enough hair for any 13 dogs.

My complaint is naming them on paper and claiming they are real breeds and
selling them for inflated prices.

MomPerson, who believes selling a crossbreed as a REAL breed is a form of
fraud.
