I have a book called "Lifetimes: the beautiful way to explain death to
children" by Bryan Mellonie and Robert Ingpen. I bought it to explain my
Dad's death to my then 7 year-old daughter. It is a beautifully illustrated
book and explains about the life and death of all living things

Subject: [Dailydrool] Books to help kids with the death of a pet

Hello,

I don't know if any of the rescues or any one knows of a good book to help
children with the death of a dog.

A friend of mine has a three year old and their dog is very old and sick.
The vet just told them it is time to let her go. The little girl just
doesn't understand.

Thanks,

Holly
