[Dailydrool] Soapy Shower Torture

Marley and I survived the shower torture.  It wasn't too bad, for me at least.  She usually follows me into the bathroom whenever I am in there.  Not today.  I finally had to push and drag her to get her in.  Then she didn't want to get in the tub.  By the time we got that far, she was mad and I was determined.  At least there was warm water, unlike the outside baths she usually gets.  The hard part of this was keeping the suds on her for 10 minutes without licking.  The smell was so lovely that I finally shut her up in the shower and watched her from outside.  She made it and I think her spots are looking better.  She seems to be leaving them alone more.  I also have Benadryl for when it gets too bad.  

 

Maggie seems to have lost her love for charcoal.  At least the log has disappeared.  The DH may have thrown it over the fence too. Now she is filching meatloaf off of the counter.  What a pip.  She is such a big sweetheart, I can't get too mad at her.  And she is covered in naughty spots.  

 

The back door was open most of the afternoon so the herd could run in and out at will.  Several stuffed animals have made it out but not back in.  The yard was kept free of birds and squirrels today too.  Ninja usually dislikes going out but when the door is open she often leads the way.  Now everyone is pooped and sleeping.  Marley is missing.(not really)  I think she is upstairs wallowing in our bed.  She loves to be undercover most of the time.  

 

We can't wait for the second bath on Sunday.  I will not be home and the DH will.  He gets a turn at the fun.  He is not amused.  The good thing is that Nic will be home to help.  It might be fun to watch.
