[Dailydrool] who says a basset can't hike

Saturday morning, Speedy, Simba, Simba's owner went on a hike.  When we started the trail people were giggling, saying " you sure your dog can keep up" To which I say HA! Speedy is named Speedy for good reason.  He was leading the trail and making sure is delicate liddle paws did not get wet by steping gingerly on the rocks to cross the creek. 
 
He is pretty good about being off leash, but this time he waited for no one..
