[Dailydrool] Elder Clara and Sister Daisy's GOTCHA DAY 3/31

Momma here, it is had to believe that the "girls" have been here for 2 years now, in many ways it is like they have always been here, and other ways our time together just zips by.
Sister Daisy has the request to make this Elder Clara's Day, since we know Daisy's actual birthday-honestly, I think they decided that they would get more special food, another party to celebrate if they do it this way-these senior girls of mine?do know how to plot.
Elder Clara. What can you say about a senior houndette, like so many, dumped, left to die.
They obviously did not realize the stamina of Elder Clara. She had a mission, and by the grace of BellyRubs Basset Rescue, she is working to fulfill her mission of helping senior hounds.
Elder Clara was a hard nut to crack, I adopted Daisy and Clara together, Clara had nursed Daisy as she went thru grade 4 heartworm treatment, stayed by her side as she healed.
When I arrived in TN to get the girls, Elder Clara gave me the wary eye, I was rocking her world, so scared, upheaval not what she had in mind again.? She had been in rescue for over 3 months. When I pulled out of foster mom Leanne's drive, Clara was pressed against the back glass moaning and crying, and almost as heartbreaking was Momma Leanne, tears flowing down her face. Those moments you never forget.
It took Elder Clara months, many months, to trust and love us, whatever she had been thru in those woods she was dumped in had to of been awful. Now with 13 1/2 years of knowledge under her paw, she motors on, ruling the roost, keeping da Brudders in line, life is secure, now she opens her heart, shows her feelings, and will blast her famous gas bombs just because she can--after all she is OEBE Queen of Farts---
Elder Clara and Sister Daisy, this is your special day--AND-your calendar day too.
I can guarantee a partee, love, hugs, a day for you, I pray there are many more, as you both have my heart.?We love you!!
And as Elder Clara sits in front of the refrigeratior--let the partee begin!!
