[Dailydrool] Fred/Bodhi

Hello Droolers, 
I wanted to let everyone know that Bodhi won't be coming out here after all. He was due for transport soon, now that his heartworm has been treated but I have been concerned about some of his issues and how he would do in my home. He was found to be very weak in his back end once in foster care. I have a few steps to get out back (and a two story house), and I've tried before but Bud absolutely refuses to use a ramp. Bud has been here the longest of anyone, and I do give special consideration to his likes/dislikes since he is blind. There are also some other questions with Bodhi that may need more work up and care, and with Barney's cancer, Bud's bad heart, and now Mango (though she is getting much better) taking in one more that is going to need lots of time and $$ right from the start is about to put me over the edge. 

I feel terrible, and it's sad that I will never get to meet him, but knowing it is about the hound, I don't think this is the best place for Bodhi right now. I wanted to tell everyone myself since people have been periodically asking about him. I'm trying, but I just can't take in as many as I would like.
