Hello everyone,
I remember reading a question about whether dogs can get swine flu, so I
thought I would send this out.

http://www.aspca.org/news/national/05-01-09.html#1

I just got a newsletter from the ASPCA that says dogs and cats have a low
risk of contracting the swine flu. I didn't read much beyond that but the
link above goes to the article. If you are still concerned, my advice would
be to just call the vet and ask. My vet will always take or return phone
calls about any question I have. I think it's a legitimate concern, and
with anything else, if Watson were displaying signs of illness
(diarrhea , vomiting, etc), you could bet that I would be at the vet.
However, if you pooch seems fine, then i don't think there's any reason to
worry or make a vet appointment.

Watson and I send hellos to all - I'm headed into finals so my life is about
to get even busier. We read our drool everyday though and the stories really
make a bleak time so much better.

Watson doing well, loving the warmer weather, and he is flinging drool to
all who need it.

Snooters,
Katie and Watson
