[Dailydrool] My sweet Bonnie is no longer in pain

My dear sweet Bonnie crossed the rainbow bridge yesterday.  she was 12 , and I had the joy of her last three years.  Her first owners kept her in a crate for 8-10 hours everyday, and decided that they wanted to trade her for a Westie instead.  She was given to a rescue site, and three people took her in. the first returned her because she smelled like a hound (duh).  the second returned her because she barked for attention (duh)  the third  returnded her because  she   drooled and wanted  a servant(duh).   The rescue  site gave her one more week and then were going to put her down.  I rushed to save her.  She was my 3rd basset and adorable, made me her slave after all she had beeen throrgh, and became aplha girl to our other dog Max.  My heart is breaking  and even our Max is grieving, even though she rooled the roost.  We will all be together again, and meet at the bridge.  I love you my dear sweet girl,and I know you are no longer in pain. mommy
