[Dailydrool] Thursday's basset

I was looking at Thursday's basset on the basset a day calendar... named  
Bucky..so adorable..and the most unusual coloring...his ears are so similar 
to  Homer's....I hope the present he got Mommy and Daddy for their 
anniversary  wasn't the same kind Homer would have gotten for me!
     Years ago we had a Boston..kids were little..On my  birthday the kids 
woke me up in the morning and said, "Mommy, Buffy was a bad  girl; she went 
in 3 places in the dining room".  So, sleepy, I trudge into  the dining room 
and look around.  I said I see this one and that  one....where's the third 
one.  The kids looked at each other and finally my  older one (who was 6 at 
the time) said, "You're standing in it."    That was one birthday present I 
never forgot... and my mother had the nerve to  tell me it was good luck!
