[Dailydrool] One of those days

First, Welcome to de Drool!
 
Second, speaking on things you've never had a hound do ... been there...
never had a hound as vocal as my boy Franklin .... sometimes the chewie,
sometimes the arrrrr arrrrr arrrrrrr when he's streatching forward to lay on
his belly with his rear legs fully extended behind him and fronts further in
front of him....
 
Third of the day... 
A friend was over picking up some stuff, she brought her son and her son's
friend (both 7 year olds), we left the boys downstairs petting my boys, the
7 year old friend, has never had a dog and was interested .... we're
gathering stuff and chatting in the kitchen and the kid comes upstairs,
"mister you should come quick I think your dog is sick" ... we fly down the
front steps, and of course my three boys are all standing at the gate,
wagging and excited .... the one boy is like 
    "but he was on his back and making noises and wiggling all over"
 
;-)  yeah... they all do that at some point... it's their way to stretch
their back, and scratch it at the same time... 
 
feels good enough to them they usually go aaarrrrra ....arrrrra... arrrra
while their head goes back & forth you should try it some time... "ok"

Subject: [Dailydrool] One of those days


Ok, I'm new to the this website and I've been reading for a couple of weeks
now but this message really hit home.
 
When Rocco gets his belly rubbed he makes noises that sound exactly like
Chewbacca from Star Wars - I think maybe we should change his name to
Chewie.  We've never had a basset that makes those kind of sounds.  
 
I don't know what we'd do without them - they are so much like children and
they definitely keep our lives interesting.
