BAssets are very good at tracking, contrary to popular belief that  
bassets cannot be trained.  You should try and catch an AKC sanctioned  
Hunt Test, where BAssets hunt the rabbit.  The animal is not allowed  
to be killed however.  Bassets are amazing hunters and trackers, dont  
let anyone tell you otherwise.  Check out the variety of Basset
