Hi Pam,

Thank you for all the terrific advice and the link. I can see how taking her out constantly will reinforce the behavior. I love the bell idea too. I had luck crating my last Basset. He had been found wandering in Pa. as well, so when he got to our home, he didn't know the difference. He got the idea in a couple of days, but Lulu raised a din when I tried crating her!
