We are doing a two-phased move, downsizing a large house to two smaller
houses. Phase I of the move happens November 8 so I have been frantically
packing and have fallen way behind in my Drools. So, in relatively
chronological order:

We are delighted that Elder Clara is on the mend. With great excitement we
bought her cookbook today, helped by Nigel, Llewis, and Cnly, and can't wait
for it to arrive!

Happy gotcha day to Lowretta -- I remember when you were one of the OMBR
puppies rescued -- I can't believe you're two. I can believe how much
happiness you bring your mommy!

Belated happy birthday to Huckleberry! Hope you got a lot of treats.

Drool for Tinkerbelle's eye, for Llewis' flaming bowl, and for Nigel's sore
tummy. Hope you're all doing better.

Heart-healing drool to Marlene's sister Barbara on the loss of her Nicki. I
have a card that will make tomorrow's mail headed her way.

Happy Gotcha Day to Boomer!

Healing drool for Abby. I'm glad her surgery went well. How is she doing?
Is she regaining function in her back end?

We're glad Elmo Lindy is responding to Baytril, and are hoping it's just a
bad UTI and not cancer. I refer to Baytril as the "projectile vomiting"
antibiotic. I have had a number of cats and dogs, and none of them has been
able to tolerate it.

Drool for Rosie and her lymphosarcoma. We hope she has lots of good time
left. And drool for Lenny -- we hope he responds to his new medicine and he
doesn't have blood cancer.

Drool for Pam -- we hope your leg is healing well. Abner is so lucky to
have you as his person. So many people would put an animal down that bit
them. He is fortunate you are willing to try to work with him.

A belated happy birthday to Rolph and Morse, two of my favorite UK bassets!
When I am feeling down I look at Morse's picture with his bear -- his
smooshiness just brings the biggest smile to my face!

Drool for Shelby -- we are so sorry the surgery showed it was cancer. We
hope you have a lot of good time left.

Carmen, Kelvin looks wonderful. It's hard to believe he's the same dog you
took in.

Drool for Daisy's lump.

Hearthealing drool to Matt on his loss of Walter. I'm sending gentle
thoughts.

We're glad Suz got Nancy back. Somehow I have the strangest suspicion that
Suz may foster fail with Nancy. Poor little Nancy is slowly opening her
frightened little heart to Suz. My guess is Suz won't want to let her go.

Welcome back Mindy, and congratulations on adopting Macy!

Drool for Arnie and his cyst removal and for Shannon. Shannon, we hope
you're feeling better.

Drool for Basil. We're so glad that it's not cancer. How is he doing?
I've been thinking about him all weekend hoping he's on the mend.

Drool for Oliver and his unfortunate eating choices.

Happy gotcha day to Lance and to Lily!

We're glad Brenda's Copper is OK, and it wasn't something more serious.

Drool for Jacquelyn. We're wishing Pierre a gentle journey to the Bridge,
and Jacquelyn comfort in her time of loss.

Drool for Ann and her Daisy.

And drool and gentle thoughts for anyone I might have missed. Laura
