[Dailydrool] favorite times of day

HI all,

I saw in a post about snoring and it sounding so peaceful.

I just wanted to share, my 2 favorite times of day.

One is when they have all settled down after being fed, and you hear either their heavy breaths or that soft snore. When I am here alone, I usually do not have the TV running, and this is my best background music!
Sometimes it is accompanied by the sound of someone nesting.

The other time is during feeding. Imagine getting food ready for 16 hungry ....wolves at this point! LOL!
We have a few very vocal hounds about the speed of my service. But when all the bowls are down, the chomping of kibble is WONDEFUL! I can relax for a few moments as they fill those hound bellies. And yes, the saying is true, the squeaky wheel gets the grease! The hounds who are most vocal get fed first to prevent any complaint from my partner who is still sleeping when we do our morning feeding.

Anyhow, my mind was wandering this monring and wanted to share.

So many have gone to the bridge lately, My heart and prayers go out to all their slaves who are grieving. I can never seem to find the right words to say, but most of us have lost a beloved basset, or other pet, and know just how you are hurting, and share in that with you.
Our candle is lit here everyday, in honor of our hounds here and the many animals left in shelters, who leave for the bridge.

Drool to all houndies needing it, the Bounders have been working overtime lately for 2 leggers and hounds alike.
