[Dailydrool] My Favorite Part of a Basset

Do you now what my favorite part of a Basset is?  That velvety, whiskery bottom lip!  That is one of the smooshiest places to kiss a Basset!  Several weeks ago we visited a manatee at Mote Aquarium in Sarasota.  That manatee smooshed his face up against the glass and looked very much like a Basset Hound!  I wanted to kiss him - too bad he was underwater!  If you ever think our Bassets have bad breath - get up close and personal with a manatee!
