[Dailydrool] dog food

We have a 12 year old male, with a very poor appetite. We saw the  vet 
today who said he needs a higher calorie dog food , because he has lost some  
weight.
He had been on Eukaneuba dry food up until a 6 weeks ago, when we  switched 
to the  cans because we thought he would eat better. But in the  past month 
he lost weight. Can anyone suggest a brand of food we could  try??  Anyone 
know about Merrick?
