[Dailydrool] Concert featuring a fellow drooler

At 2:00 pm edt, there was concert held at fisher auditorium on the  
Indiana university of pa campus in memory of it's longtime director of  
bands, dr. Daniel dicicco.  Among one of the composition that was  
commissioned for this event is a work by a fellow drooler, dr. Jim  
self, class of 1965, who shall be conducting the piece with the  
university wind ensemble. Longtime readers will remember that dr. Self  
made a jazz recording with his basset hound as the lead vocalist.   
This composition was originally comissioned by the Pasadena , ca  
symphony, and was rescored for concert band by dr. Self for this  
concert.
