i first want to thank each and every one of you who have written me with
concern, advice and drool; it means so much to us.
i must say that most of you suggested that his withdrawal from anesthesia
is likely to have been the cause of his crying all night last night and now
i tend to agree. he's had quite a normal day today. eating his kibble
mixed with warm water, getting cheese treats (have never given him cheese,
he's loving it), bouncing down the 5 stairs to the yard to pee, jumping up on
the couch if i'm on it (for more belly-rubs) and snoozing on his favorite
chair. i gave him the rimadyl this morning in a pill pocket and he chewed
it right up. i'm working from home today but hope to be able to catch a
nap later on and i'm sure he'll be squished up on the bed right along side of
me.
once again, thanks so much for your notes; as all of you know, our drool
family is so comforting to all of us. i had to write my lengthy tale this
morning because i had to share it with people who would understand the horror
of a baby in distress, whereas, if i wrote that lengthy narration to my
friends, they'd be thinking, "we've got to get her out for a cocktail; she
needs less dog-time and more human time."
little do they know...........
