Dear Melissa & Alex

As I read your post about Homer, I tears welled up.  It's a difficult
decision to make - it's even more difficult when it's for those reasons.
Last September, my sister had to send Willow to the bridge.  She was a young
basset but acted so much like your Homer.  Some might disagree with your
decision, but you released Homer from his demons.

I am very sorry for your loss.  Remember the good times with Homer.
