[Dailydrool] luxating hips

I have had two bassets and Dazey didn't have too much problem with hips but Miss Becky did  Dazey had Addisons and low thyroid  Dazey was a N Y breeder dog with a pedigree too
Becky was limping on and off and once we thought she had a cruciate so off to the ortho vet in Calgary    He said bassets are built like midgets and have the same problems  and she did not have a cruciate
She was sore off and on but I used magnets, elastic tape, a dr ho thing and she was still walking and doing stairs when she left.
We think it was something growing on her heart that changed cuz she was dragging one leg - got better and we 
decided we couldn't let her go on longer
So they wobble, don't wobble and they keep going like Mac Trucks
