[Dailydrool] Sad Anniversary

One year ago today, I helped my lovely Lucy to the bridge after a brief yet
courageous battle with hemangiosarcoma.

She was exactly 13.5 years old.  She had been with me for 13 years.  I wish
I had 13 more.

I dreamed of her a few days after she died.  She was running through a
meadow.  She was dark red again and running so fast her ears were flying
straight back.  She saw me, stopped, sat down and looked right at me.  She
had her grin on and gave me a look that said "see, I am better".  Then she
was off again.  I haven't seen her again since.

Hug your houndies tight.
