Hello to all,

Last night I sent out a bit of a lengthy letter about our pets going to Heaven and wanting to hear from all you on the Drool of your inspirational stories. I have heard from a few that were very beautiful and from the heart. I would love to hear from more of you telling how much your hounds and or other pets have meant to you and how we all seem to agree that All Dogs Do Go To Heaven.
Here's one for you:
Before we got our basset Henry, we had a Bichon Frise for almost 15 years, Simba. After Simba went to the Bridge, our older daughter Jackie was having a terrifying nightmare. She said that she was trying to come out of this dream state and was trembling because she said she felt an evil presence. Just at that very moment, she saw Simba and a total calm came over her and all the feeling of fear and evil immediately left. She was convinced that God sent Simba to her to help her out of that terrible nightmare. She was at peace all that day from seeing Simba.
I could go on and on with stories of dogs we have had and even now with Henry.
I guess most of you heard the story on the news about the German Shepherd getting help for his owner who's house was on fire. Talk about God using a dog for a miracle!!!
Come on lovers of bassets, send me your inspiring stories of your four legged Angels. I love hearing stories like that and love to pass them around for others to read so they too can be lifted up from whatever trials they may be enduring. I just feel that there is so much inundation of negativity, that when we not only write about the blessings our pets are to us, but also when we hear these stories, only one thing can happen, we can experience a freedom just from being touched by such wonderful, loving stories.
Please send some more of these heart warming stories. You never know how your story could affect someone else just from reading it.

Thank you all,

Maureen and Henry
