Nearest town with a TV Station would be Champaign-Urbana, home of the University of Illinois (WILL-TV, but they're PBS, and I don't know whether they have a local newscast.), as well as WCIA-TV and WCCU-TV in Champaign.  Decatur, IL is close by, with WAND-TV and WBUI-TV.
