[Dailydrool] bassets as guard dogs

All I know, is that when my 2 girls are out in the  front yard, (fenced), 
they  try as hard as they can to be  scary.
Not one person has walked by, that hasn't smiled  at them, or laughed, or 
said oh how cute you are!  Honey has a bark like a  little girl, Dottie has 
the BIG voice.
When someone is approaching our yard as they walk  by, Honey is barking at 
them 2 blocks before they get there, and she continues  on till they are out 
of sight, a woof here and there.  Dottie on the other  hand, stays way in 
the back ground, as they approach, she puts her head real  low, but she waits 
until they walk by, THEN she charges at the fence. If anyone  turned to 
come in the yard, Dottie would be the first one on the steps, begging  to come 
in.  No one takes them seriously, but as far as they are concerned,  the 
people keep going farther away from our yard, so they are sure they are  doing 
a good job scaring them off.................haha!  Barbie and her  toughie 
mushy lover girls.........
