Mommy sez wen we goez up North to daddy's hunt-in cabin place dat we dont  
hab allergies,  only wen we cum back home dat dey kick in again.
 
 It's true when we take our girls up to Northern Michigan they never  lick, 
chew or scratch,  I have always said, that I think there is  something in 
this part of the country that makes allergies so bad,  our  oldest son had 
severe allergies and had to take desensitizing shots also,   but when we would 
go up North  he never had a problem, , but when we came  back to Ohio, his 
eyes itched and his nose ran and he sneezed lots !!!!!!!
we do live less than a mile from one of the largest grain elevators and  
fertilizer plants in the Tri State
we also had a large chemical plant that just opened about 5 years a go  
three miles down the road !
when I go out side in the grass,  I will actually have the tops of my  
tennis shoes turn orange   the soil specialist said it is a fungus on  the 
grass, everybody around here gets it,  even the doctors office across  the street 
has it on their lawns and they use lawn chemicals and water daily. so  if I 
get it on my shoes, I know that the dogs get it on their feet and of  
course,  good old Maggie wags is forever doing the flat Basset in the grass  
because she doesn't want to come in,  she is on to me with the cookie  routine , 
I will stand there and say  cookie, cookie, mommy has a  cookie,  she just 
raises her head and gives me the look  like 
" bite me , I know there is no cookie "
 
I think we should send the president of the United States a picture of the  
Pacific Basset Fleet with all of out titles,  we might just get on TV  
????????   hey hey hey !!!!!!
 
well, both my girls peed multiple  times, they would walk, pee, walk  some 
more and pee walk some more and pee  I thought they had a UTI   but when I 
had their urine tested they were fine  my vet looked and me and  said  " THEY 
ARE BASSETS ! "  they would pee 9 times outside come in  the house and pee 
again  right after being outside.  they did this  until they were almost a 
year old. they are also walkers when they poo,   they can't just poop in one 
spot,  HELL NO !  they drop a turd here, a  turd over there and another one 
someplace else, that's why I have  florescent   PINK POOP FLAGS  I really do 
!!!!  my yard  looks like I am marking land mines !!!!!!!
