[Dailydrool] readin the drools

Momma here, trying desperately to catch up. We are sending condolences for all the hounds that have made the trip to the bridge. My gosh, way too many passings, ve are so very sorry.Heart healing drool is being sent.
We also send healing drool to all in need.
I had to chime in on the socks on the feet thread. Charles Basset-atb-also had a case of the chew up the paw itches. This was many many years ago. With Charles, it almost became a habit. I bought him a pair of buster brown childrens socks and this seemed to be the only way we could get him to stop. We were able to keep the meds on the spot, and he left it alone. Even after all these years, I still have the one sock in the doggie first aid kit.

Jake had a issue last week, it started with a spot on the side of his nose, it was one of those things I seen and said hmmmmmm, what is that?? Well the next morning it looked worse, it turned white, it looked almost slimely. By noon, it had spread to the other side of his nose. We got him into Doc, and Jake had been bit by a spider. Doc said he had really seen a surge in this in type of bite in the past few weeks and even on the meds it was going to look worse before it got better. Boy, he was right, that was one nasty looking snooter. It has now been a week since he seen Doc, and he is still on the meds, but he does look better. So watch those little spots, this one sure caught us off guard.
