[Dailydrool] Rat Update

Well I haven't seen the rat since last night when Patty the Krazy Kat let it
loose in the den and it went under a chair.  No remains anywhere, no rat
droppings, no rugs shoved over to one side, no thumping and banging in the
night - nothing.  My three male cats were all feral kittens that we trapped
and tamed, and they were fierce hunters in their younger days, but they are
all getting older and rather lazy, so I don't know if they will bother to
hunt it - then again, it could already have been dispatched to rat heaven.
Patty the Krazy Kat was my nephew's cat that I took in when they were
transferred overseas, she was not feral and she loses focus and falls asleep
easily when she's supposed to be waiting and watching and stalking her prey,
so I don't have a lot of faith in her hunting abilities.  Wonder what will
happen tonight.
