A friend once asked with with Bertrand happened the same thing as with her dog. I asked what she meant, of course. She then asked if when we left the house, our dog went on "stand by" as the TV, waiting for us to be back home and be switched on again. We (me and DH) said "YES". So, don't worry if it happens to you, it's just that the dog goes on "stand by". It's not just food, it's everything!
