[Dailydrool] bronchites please help

Dear Friends

My Xaxa has been having cough attacks about every hour during the night. During the day, we don't know why, he has less.
We have taken him to 3 vets and they say it is bronchitis and that's it. Some gave codeine which does not really treat the bronchites. Other said that is because he is old (duhh) Can anyone help?
Dadperson can't sleep at night and feels so bad for Xaxa.
