I was gonna grump a bit about the cold, nasty rain we here in 'Jersey are having but after reading about the snow and minus temperatures in the midwest and other parts of the Drool world, I shall not, LOL. Sending stop snowing and warm-up thoughts to all who need them, LOL.

Brudder Elwood, you never fail to amaze me. You and Brudder Jake do like to live dangerously, don't you? Good thing your Daddy saved you from the jaws of death, read Elder Clara. What happened next would NOT have been pretty.

Ginny - I so agree with you about Droolers. It takes a special kind of person to understand and love Bassets. I think that is the bond we all share here on the Drool. I've been fortunate enough to meet many tri-state Droolers and even some from further away (King George from Texas!) To a person, all have been delightful people! Many of us will NEVER meet but that doesn't mean we can't be friends. I feel like I "know" lots of folks and their hounds with the passage of time. How nice you got to meet with Colt and Ruger's humans.

Elizabeth - So sorry you and Elsinore could not have a meeting of the minds regarding her therapy dog test. I have a friend who takes her daughter and SIL's golden retriever on weekly trips to two care centers and so enjoy reading about the joy the two of them bring the residents. It was also interesting to read about your experience with the dog psychic. It would be interesting to get a reading on my Dudley. I'd like to know more about his past and his "issues."

Richie - It doesn't surprise me that you have dog bed reversal in your house. Dogs have a different worldview about their size, LOL.

Been getting ready for the holidays here. The dining table has been cleared and I put out a new table runner and some pretty dark red candles and a bowl of Christmasy potpourri. Apparently, this appealed to Daisy for I came up from the basement where I had put in a load of laundry to find her standing on the table, snooter in said bowl. She didn't even have the grace to look guilty or chagrined. Sigh...

Heart healing drool to those who have lost their houndies to the Bridge..and healing drool to any sick ones.

Hugs to all their humans.
Sandi, Mamaslave to the NJ4
Daisy, Delilah, Dozer and Dudley
