Writing on behalf of my sister's basset, Charley.  Some of you may recall a post about him over the summer concerning MRSA in his ears.  His medical issues have continued and yesterday he had a consult at NCSU vet school.  The news wasn't good:  he has cancer.  Please hug your hounds extra tight today in his honor.  We don't yet know what kind or what his prognosis is, but it's clear he isn't well :-(  Thanks for taking the time to read this.
