good news.....we are making progress....burton now goes out the doggy 
door on my command, but not marty's....and most of the time is doing his 
business outside......instead of caging him, i tried confining him in a 
bedroom at night  with hershey and einstein, and he was good for one 
night,  not so much the other.....he was stinky and i was able to lead 
him into the shower, and if i didn't turn the water on fast, he was good 
about getting showered and liked the towel rub down, and then ran the 
basset 500.....he is making progress, and that is good.....nancy
