[Dailydrool] Daphneyland has NOT slid down the mountain

Wet? Absolutely.  Pouring something fierce and snow levels are  dropping in 
the next 24 hours, so we'll be wet, muddy and cold - of course the  hounds 
will be snuggled up on blankies with heaters, it'll be the humans who are  
freezing!
 
We're doing okay - we are on a gentle southern facing slope at 3800 feet,  
but with a microclimate that typically brings us snow anytime the snow level 
 falls below 6000 feet, it just doesn't stick until 4000 - which as I 
understand  it the local mountains are expecting a couple feet of snow out of 
these storms,  and believe me when I say......  NO SNOW PLEASE NO SNOW YET!!!!  
 
Mudslides for burn areas is one of the many weather alerts currently, but  
we did not burn in the station fire, we were in the plume and 11 miles away 
- so  our hill's are green and holding for the moment.  Now, the access road 
may  be another story and may get stuck on the ranch due to access, but the 
local  neighbors and their men-toys get that fixed pretty darned quick out 
here in the  country.  Nice having country neighbors.
 
For those who follow Villalobos as well as The Brittany Foundation,  
Shambala, D.E.L.T.A., Linda Blair's Worldheart Foundation and our other  
networking coalition groups - keep everyone's furkids in your drool filled  prayers - 
this is one mother of a pineapple express and it's not uncommon for  those 
animal sanctuaries in the area to suffer extreme damage from mud and water  
- we've been lucky over the years to not have mud factors other than muddy  
pawprints.  No one gets to complain about their floors around me, can you  
imagine what 100 muddy bassets do to floors around here during a week rain?  
Bwahahaha.
