I just got an email from The Animal Rescue site that said Montana Basset 
Rescue won the $1000.00 prize!!!! Thank you everyone who voted to keep them 
on top!!!
Leslie sold some items on Houndsbay to buy some propane and had a few extra 
donations so she and her hounds have been surviving the bitter cold only 
through the generosity of all fellow droolers, but now she will be in ship 
shape and maybe even be able to add some insulation to her walls so her 
propane will stretch farther.
Droolers are the best!!
Whenever I read the Drools I always ponder about how much we are a family of 
caring, Basset loving dog people. We all have empathy for lost loved ones 
who are making their way to the bridge and we all are moved with a heartfelt 
desire to help each other feel better as we put ourselves in each others 
shoes when times are sad or hounds are ill, together we are a powerful group 
and now we can also be considered Basset rescuers because we all helped 
rescue a rescue!! Thank all of you again!!!
