Did you try the dremnel?  Miss Becky was ok with nails till she saw a royal 
performance by her friend the beagle in line before her time with nails and 
since then was a bucking bronco.
So each day I would try the dremnel just a bit and one day at age 8 she 
didn't move and let me do her nails.
Amazing.
and the poor eyesight basset - nothing keeps these guys down - nothing!!!
