Same up here in Evanston. We are having very high winds, which makes it look 
like a blizzard, but it's really not coming down very hard. Keep your fingers 
crossed that the report for tomorrow (-30 windchill) is also exaggerated!

Despite being locked down and the hatches battened, we here in Park Forest have 
not gotten the winter blast I have seen on the weather channel. Suburbs north of 
Chicago may have but we are far south of the city, right at the tip of the lake, 
about 12 miles from Indiana. It is snowing now, but it is typical winter 
weather, nothing like I see elsewhere. 

Hope all of you further north including my daughter are ok. I think this is the 
backside of the storm.
The dogs are happy. They like it.
