[Dailydrool] Dyson

Geez, all this time I thought I was the only one who hated their Dyson!  My
husband bought it for me since he knew I'm too cheap to spend the $$$ it
costs.  I have one room with wall to wall carpet and it works great in
there. The rest of my floors are hardwood and tile and frankly, its
horrible.  I think I could pick up more with a broom!  I find it very heavy
and hard to lug around.  The wand doesn't stretch very far and one of these
days the vacuum is going to knock me down the stairs when I'm trying to
vacuum the stairs.  In all fairness, I do have 3 dogs who produce mega
amounts of hair but I hate the fact that when you empty the cannister, dust
goes flying.  I think I would prefer to go back to a canister where all the
dirt and hair goes into a bag that I don't have to touch except when it
needs replacing.  Anyone have any suggestions on a good canister for
hardwood and tile floors?  We're redoing our kitchen and will have ceramic
tile in there in about a month.
