[Dailydrool] We gots SNOW

Like so many on the East Coast, we got SNOW. LOTS of snow. TOO MUCH snow.
Roughly 30 inches in my area -- and it felt more like 90!

Of course, first priority went to forging potty paths for the hounds. They
were NOT patient. Daisy decided the Dining Room was as good a place as any
to poop while I was shoveling -- I guess I was just too slow. I cleared a
narrow tunnel so they can get under the deck, which is a relatively
snow-free zone. Toby is most displeased that he cannot patrol the fence line
as he usually does, but there is a solid wall of snow taller than me near
the back door, so he's out of luck for awhile. I can't throw the snow any
higher, so I'm praying we don't get much more this week (they are
forecasting snow again for Tuesday).

I only managed to shovel half the driveway (it took me four shifts and five
hours and my back was screaming), but there's always tomorrow. The roads are
still a mess, so we're house-bound for the near future anyway. 

Hoping all the other snow-bound Droolers are making out okay. P.S. I have
found that two fluffy hounds make great feet and hand warmers after a
vigorous shoveling session...
