I thought maybe I had a bug or something, but now realise what has happened.. Last night we walked past the fish and chip shop and I saw some little saveloy sausages sitting there. Morse has seemed a little down in the dumps so I went ahead and bought him one, and to say his pace picked up a little is an understatement - he practically grew wings and flew home. En route to home I opened the paper up for him. I am vegetarian but always take a bite of the sausage to check it is OK. It wasnt as hot as it could have been but knowing his cast iron stomach figured it would be fine, and it was.  For him that is.  For me, it was a different story. Within about an hour I started feeling a little green, and then spent the entire night with my head in the toilet. Morse on the other hand passed out with apparent happiness.
*sigh*
