[Dailydrool] Pre-haired pants

Maybe I have been lacking sources of amusement if I think my DH grousing about dog hair on his pants is funny. He was pulling some clean ones from the dryer and I could hear him muttering. He was saying his pants all come pre-haired so he doesn't have to worry about getting some one them later. And it is multi colored for the discerning hair enthusiast. For some reason it struck me as really funny. I was sitting here cackling like something that rides a broom. He thought I was having an apoplectic fit. Not really. Just been stuck in the house with four bassets, two cats and one very long teenager. It's been a slow day--and that is a good thing. I got to relax in the company of my four legged loves.

This morning the DH got up at the usual time and Ninja got up with him. She cannot wait for her breakfast bow. A few minutes later she came back to bed and got under the covers all moany and groany. I didn't think anything of it. Then Picasso came in and ran all over me and then went and started banging the blinds. We have to keep him out at night because he always starts banging the blinds in the middle of the night. Just for fun, I guess. Well, this morning he was banging away and the door was open so he could escape. I yelled and he left. Come to find out, DH had let Ninja out and in but had not fed her or the cats. He had the audacity to use the facilities before preparing the bowls. The nerve of this man!!!!!!!!!!! Ninja got disgusted and came back to bed and Picasso came and banged the blinds in aggravation. They are such funny creatures and they really don't like having their routine messed up. I came down after the blind banging and all was well. The bowls were fixed and tummies were filled.

Maggie seems to be feeling better for now. She is sleeping on the couch. I meant to watch her eat but other things came up. But hopefully not her dinner. I think Maggie would make a good playmate for the 103 pound boy. She is a big girl at 78 pounds and loves to play and romp. She is the youngest one here and is still playing like a baby. The others are not as playful and she probably needs more playtime. She played with the puppy at Christmas like he was best friend. I don't think I could do a puppy anymore.

We hope everyone has a good evening. A peaceful, snoozy night. And a warm one. It feels really cold outside here. And I'll admit, I am a wimp.

Drool to all in need. Ninja, Marley, Maggie, Shelby and the not so wild and rather sleepy kitty boys
