Come visit us in northern IL, Sue - I'm only a mile from the lake, and we got about 18", plus lots of ice. Basil is having a ball diving off the deck into snow deeper than he is tall.

  Buttercup is envious of all those bassets who got all that lovely s snow.  We, in southern IL only got a few inches of snow and that is fun but she wants more, more, more.    She wuoud also like a playmate who likes snow too, as all the other 3 basset including the new foster are always wanting in after just a few minutes, the weenies.  Even MomPerson woun't come out and play.  Even when she gives her most enticing tail waggle that she knows momperson find irresistable.  Sue K
